आसुरे: प्रथमं शिष्यं यमाहुश्चिरजीविनम्‌ । पजञ्चस्रोतसि य: सत्रमास्ते वर्षमहस्रिकम्‌,उन्हें आसुरि मुनिका प्रथम शिष्य और चिरंजीवी बताया जाता है। उन्होंने एक हजार वर्षोतक मानस यज्ञका अनुष्ठान किया था

Transliteration

āsureḥ prathamaṃ śiṣyaṃ yam āhuś cirajīvinam | pañca-srotasi yaḥ satram āste varṣa-sahasrikam ||

Translation

قال بهيشما: «يصفونه بأنه التلميذ الأول للحكيم آسوري (Āsuri)، وبأنه طويل العمر. وفي بَنْجَسْرُوتَس (Pañcasrotas) أقام جلسة قربانية (satra) استمرت ألف سنة».
