ततः पश्यन्त्यसम्बुद्धया वातपित्तकफोत्तरान्‌ | रजस्तमोगतैभविस्तदप्याहुर्दुरत्ययम्‌

Transliteration

tataḥ paśyanty asambuddhayā vātapittakaphottarān | rajastamogatāir bhāvais tad apy āhur duratyayam ||

Translation

قال بهيشما: بعد ذلك، لافتقاد اليقظة الحقة، يرى الناس في المنام صورًا جسدية شتّى يغلب عليها الريح (ڤاتا) أو الصفراء (پِتّا) أو البلغم (كافا)، وتغشاها أحوال مولودة من الراجس والتامس كالشهوة والوهْم. ويقرر الحكماء أنّ تجاوز هذه الرؤيا الحلمية عسيرٌ للغاية ما لم تُنال معرفةُ الحقيقة.
