भीष्म उवाच
This line is not a doctrinal verse but a colophon: it signals the completion of a chapter within Mokṣadharma, framing the preceding material as spiritual instruction (adhyātma) situated in the Śānti Parva’s liberation-oriented discourse.
The text is closing a chapter of Bhīṣma’s instruction to Yudhiṣṭhira in the Śānti Parva. The colophon formally records the work (Mahābhārata), the parva (Śānti), the internal section (Mokṣadharma), and the chapter number (211).
