Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
नारद उवाच एवमेतन्महाबाहो यथा वदसि भारत | न कर्णार्जुनयो: किंचिदविषदह्ाां भवेद् रणे,नारदजीने कहा--महाबाहु भरतनन्दन! तुम जैसा कह रहे हो, ठीक ऐसी ही बात है। वास्तवमें कर्ण और अर्जुनके लिये युद्धमें कुछ भी असाध्य नहीं हो सकता था इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि राजधर्मानुशासनपर्वणि कर्णशापो नाम द्वितीयोध्याय:
nārada uvāca | evam etan mahābāho yathā vadasi bhārata | na karṇārjunayoḥ kiñcid aviṣahyaṁ bhaved raṇe ||
قال نارادا: «نعم، أيها العظيم الذراعين من نسل بهاراتا—كما تقول تمامًا. حقًّا، لم يكن لكارنا وأرجونا في ساحة القتال شيءٌ يتعذّر قهره.»
