शृणोति कथितं जीव: कर्णाभ्यां न शृणोति तत् । महर्षे मनसि व्यग्रे तस्माज्जीवो निरर्थक:
Translation
أيها المُهَرْشي الجليل! إن الكائن الحي يسمع ما يُقال له بأذنيه، ولكن إذا اضطرب الذهن سمعَ وكأنه لم يسمع. لذلك فافتراض وجودٍ للحيّ خارج الذهن عبثٌ لا معنى له.
