न केनचित्‌ प्रवादेन सत्येनैवापहारिणा । धर्मायोत्तिष्ठ विप्रर्षे नात्मानं त्यक्तुमहसि

Transliteration

na kenacit pravādena satyenaivāpahāriṇā | dharmāyottiṣṭha viprarṣe nātmānaṃ tyaktum arhasi ||

Translation

قال بهيشما: «لا تُهلك نفسك (ولا تُفكِّر في ترك الحياة) بسبب أيِّ اتّهام—ولو كان صادقًا قادرًا على سلب شرفك. يا براهمارشي، انهض من أجل الدارما؛ لستَ ممّن يليق به أن يتخلّى عن نفسه. اثبت على السلوك القويم، ولا تستسلم لليأس أو لعار الناس.»
