ततः स गौतमगहं प्रविवेश द्विजोत्तम: । गौतमश्नापि सम्प्राप्तस्तावन्योन्येन संगतौ,घूमता-घामता वह श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण गौतमके घरपर गया, इतनेहीमें गौतम भी शिकारसे लौटकर वहाँ आ पहुँचा। उन दोनोंकी एक-दूसरेसे भेंट हुई
tataḥ sa gautamagṛhaṃ praviveśa dvijottamaḥ | gautamaś cāpi samprāptas tāv anyonyena saṅgatau ||
ثم دخل ذلك البراهمن الجليل بيتَ غوتاما. وفي تلك اللحظة نفسها وصل غوتاما عائدًا من الصيد، فالتقيا وجهًا لوجه.
