The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
वश्षित् क्षुद्रसमाचार: पृथिव्यां कालसम्मित: । विचचार महारण्ये घोर: शकुनिलुब्धक:,एक समयकी बात है किसी महान् वनमें कोई भयंकर बहेलिया चारों ओर विचर रहा था। वह बड़े खोटे आचार-विचारका था। पृथ्वीपर वह कालके समान जान पड़ता था
vaśṣit kṣudra-samācāraḥ pṛthivyāṃ kāla-sammitaḥ | vicacāra mahāraṇye ghoraḥ śakuni-lubdhakaḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «كان في سالف الزمان صيّادُ طيورٍ مروّعٌ يجوب غابةً شاسعة. كانت سيرته دنيئةً ضيّقة؛ وعلى الأرض بدا كأنه الموتُ نفسه، يتحرّك في كل ناحية طلبًا للفريسة.»
