Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)

त्वं तु सर्वा महीं त्यक्त्वा कुरुषे स्‍्वयमापदम्‌ । ये सब लोग आपको समझानेका प्रयत्न कर रहे हैं

tvaṃ tu sarvāṃ mahīṃ tyaktvā kuruṣe svayam āpadam |

قال فايشَمبايانا: «ولكنك، وأنت تترك الأرض كلّها—بل سيادة العالم—إنما تجلب الكارثة على رأسك بيدك. مع أنّ كثيرين يسعون إلى نصحك، فإنك لا تُصغي إليهم؛ وما أقوله الآن ليس كذبًا. إنك، بتنازلك عن مُلك الأرض بأسرها، تصنع الشقاء لنفسك عن عمد.»
