अथ बन्धपरिक्लिष्टो मार्जारो वीक्ष्य मूषिकम् । छिन्दन्तं वै तदा पाशानत्वरन्तं त्वरान्वित:
atha bandha-parikliṣṭo mārjāro vīkṣya mūṣikam | chindantaṃ vai tadā pāśān atvarantaṃ tvarānvitāḥ ||
قال بهيشما: ثم إن القط، وقد أضناه القيد، رأى الفأر يقطع حبال الشِّراك. فلما لاحظ أنه لا يعمل بسرعة، تكلم القط—وقد استبدّت به العَجَلة—ليحثّه ويُلِحّ عليه أن يقطع القيود أسرع.
