Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
एवमुक्त्वा तु पलितस्तमर्थमुभयोहितम् । हेतुमद् ग्रहणीयं च कालापेक्षी न्यवेक्ष्य च
evam uktvā tu palitas tam artham ubhayohitam | hetumad grahaṇīyaṃ ca kālāpekṣī nyavekṣya ca ||
فلما قال ذلك، عرض باليتا أمرًا نافعًا للطرفين، مؤيَّدًا بالحجة وجديرًا بالقبول. ثم، وهو يترقّب الوقت الملائم والردّ، وجّه بصره نحو القطّ.
भीष्म उवाच
Counsel should be for mutual welfare, grounded in reason, and offered with sensitivity to the right time; even good advice gains force when delivered and received at an opportune moment.
