Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
शत्रुरूपा हि सुहृदो मित्ररूपाश्न शत्रव: । संधितास्ते न बुद्धयन्ते कामक्रोधवशं गता:
śatrurūpā hi suhṛdo mitrarūpāś ca śatravaḥ | sandhitās te na budhyante kāma-krodha-vaśaṃ gatāḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «قد يتخذ الأصدقاء صورة الأعداء، وقد يتخذ الأعداء صورة الأصدقاء. وحتى بعد عقد العهد، إذا وقع الناس تحت سلطان الشهوة والغضب، استحال تمييز ما إذا كانوا يعملون بروح الصداقة أم بروح العداوة.»
