Nakula’s Counsel on Yajña, Dāna, and Tyāga (नकुलोपदेशः—यज्ञदानत्यागविचारः)
atyāśramāṇayaṁ sarvanityāhur vedaniścayāḥ
The verse appeals to Vedic authority to emphasize that right conduct is sustained by constant practice and by alignment with the āśrama-based framework of dharma (ordered disciplines/stages of life).
Nakula is speaking within the Shanti Parva’s dharma-discourse, citing what Veda-grounded authorities say to support a point about disciplined, continual observance of life-ordering duties.
