तस्यर्षेरुपविष्टस्थ पादमूले महामते । मनुष्यवद्गतो भावो स्नेहबद्धों& भवद् भूशम्
tasyarṣer upaviṣṭastha-pādamūle mahāmate | manuṣyavad gato bhāvo sneha-baddho ’bhavad bhūśam ||
قال بهيشما: «أيها الحكيم، لما جلس الكلب عند قدميّ الحكيم العظيم، نهض في قلبه شعور شبيه بشعور البشر. وقد قُيِّد بإحكام بالمودة، فاشتد تعلّقه بالناسك.»
