Duryodhana-śibira-praveśaḥ — The Pāṇḍavas Enter the Kaurava Camp; The Burning of Arjuna’s Chariot

त्वयाभिसृष्टेन हतः शैनेयेन महात्मना । “बलवान भूरिश्रवाका हाथ कट गया था और वे आमरण अनशनका व्रत लेकर बैठे हुए थे। उस दशामें तुमसे ही प्रेरित होकर महामना सात्यकिने उनका वध किया ।।

tvayābhisṛṣṭena hataḥ śaineyena mahātmanā |

قال سَنجايا: بتحريضٍ منك، قتلَه شَيْنَيَةُ (ساتْيَكي) ذو النفس العظيمة. وتُبرز هذه العبارة أنّ المشورة والاستفزاز قد يجعلان المرءَ شريكًا في الإثم أخلاقيًّا في قتلٍ ينفّذه غيره، ولا سيّما حين يكون المقتول في حال ضعفٍ ومقيّدًا بنذرٍ.
