।। तत्र स्नात्वा च दत्त्वा च वसूनि विविधानि च
tatra snātvā ca dattvā ca vasūni vividhāni ca
وهناك، بعد أن اغتسل وقدّم العطايا أيضًا—مانحًا أنواعًا شتّى من الثروة—أتى بالأعمال المألوفة من التطهير والسخاء، مؤكّدًا الدارما بالصدقة حتى في قسوة ما بعد الحرب.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed through purification and dāna (charitable giving): after undertaking a cleansing act, one should also support others through gifts, reinforcing moral order even in difficult times.
The narrator describes someone at a particular location performing a ritual bath and then distributing various forms of wealth as gifts—standard dharmic observances that often accompany travel, sacred visits, or post-event rites.
