Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
ऋषयो बहवो राजंस्तत् सत्रमभिपेदिरे | वैशम्पायनजीने कहा--राजन्! पूर्वकालके सत्ययुगकी बात है वहाँ बारह वर्षोमें पूर्ण होनेवाले एक महान् यज्ञका अनुष्ठान आरम्भ किया गया था। उस सत्रमें नैमिषारण्यनिवासी तपस्वी मुनि तथा अन्य बहुतसे ऋषि पधारे थे
ṛṣayo bahavo rājan tat satram abhipedire |
قال فايشَمبايانا: «أيها الملك، إنّ رُسُلاً من الحكماء كُثُراً قدِموا واجتمعوا لتلك الجلسة القربانية (سَتْرَة).» وتُصوِّر العبارة مشهداً لعملٍ دينيٍّ جماعيٍّ منضبط، حيث يجتمع الزهّاد العلماء لإقامة النظام المقدّس عبر شعيرة طويلة محكومة بالضوابط.
