सरस्वत्यास्तटे जातं नगं तालध्वजो बली । वहाँ तालचिह्वलित ध्वजावाले बलवान् बलरामने महाशंख नामक एक वृक्ष देखा
قال فايشَمبايانا: على ضفة سارَسْوَتي رأى بالاراما القوي، صاحب الراية الموسومة بعلامة شجرة التالا، شجرةً تُدعى «مهاشانخا»، سامقةً كجبل ميرو، متلألئةً كـ«شڤيتاتشلا». وتحتها كانت جماعاتٌ من الرِّشيّين تقيم. وقد نبتت تلك الشجرة على ضفة سارَسْوَتي نفسها.
