गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel

स ते दर्पो नरश्रेष्ठ स च मान: क्व ते गत: । यस्त्वं संस्तभ्य सलिलं भीतो राजन्‌ व्यवस्थित:,“राजन! नरश्रेष्ठ! तुम्हारा वह पहलेका दर्प और अभिमान कहाँ चला गया, जो डरके मारे जलका स्तम्भन करके यहाँ छिपे हुए हो?

sa te darpo naraśreṣṭha sa ca mānaḥ kva te gataḥ | yastvaṁ saṁstabhya salilaṁ bhīto rājan vyavasthitaḥ ||

قال سنجيا: «يا خيرَ الرجال، أين ذهب ذلك الكِبْرُ والزهوُ اللذان كانا لك من قبل؟ أيها الملك، ها أنت الآن، وقد استولى عليك الخوف، تقف هنا بعد أن حبستَ المياه وتواريتَ مختبئًا».
