तस्मिंस्तथा वर्तमाने विद्रवे भूशदारुणे । युयुत्सु: शोकसम्मूढ: प्राप्तकालमचिन्तयत्,जब इस प्रकार अति भयंकर भगदड़ मची हुई थी, उस समय युयुत्सु शोकसे मूर्च्छित हो मन-ही-मन समयोचित कर्तव्यका विचार करने लगा--
tasmiṁs tathā vartamāne vidrave bhūśa-dāruṇe | yuyutsuḥ śoka-sammūḍhaḥ prāpta-kālam acintayat ||
قال سَنجايا: وبينما كانت تلك الفوضى—ذلك الفرارُ المروّع—جاريةً على هذا النحو، كان يُيُوتْسُو غارقًا في الحزن حتى كاد يذهل، فأخذ يُفكّر في باطنه فيما يقتضيه الواجب في تلك الساعة.
