Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report
यद् वै त्वां नानुगच्छामस्तेन धक्ष्यामहे वयम् | तत् स्वर्गहीना हीनार्था: स्मरन्त: सुकृतस्य ते,“राजन्! परम गतिको जाते समय आपके पीछे-पीछे जो हम तीनों भी नहीं चल रहे हैं, इसके कारण हम स्वर्ग और अर्थ दोनोंसे वंचित हो आपके सुकृतोंका स्मरण करते हुए दिन- रात शोकाग्निमें जलते रहेंगे
yad vai tvāṃ nānugacchāmas tena dhakṣyāmahe vayam | tat svargahīnā hīnārthāḥ smarantaḥ sukṛtasya te ||
قال سانجيا: «إن كنا حقًّا لا نتبعك، فبتلك الخطيئة نفسها سنُلتهم. محرومين من السماء، فاقدين كل مكسب كريم، سنظل نذكر صالح أعمالك، أيها الملك، ونحترق ليلًا ونهارًا في نار الحزن.»
