Adhyāya 6: Śibira-dvāra-sthita Bhūta-varṇana and Aśvatthāmā’s Śaraṇāgati to Mahādeva
द्रौणिमुक्तान् शरांस्तांस्तु तद् भूतं॑ महदग्रसत् । उदधेरिव वार्योघान् पावको वडवामुख:
drauṇimuktān śarāṁs tāṁs tu tad bhūtaṁ mahad agrasat | udadher iva vāryoghān pāvako vaḍavāmukhaḥ ||
قال سانجيا: إن تلك القوة العنصرية العظمى ابتلعت كل السهام التي أطلقها ابن درونا. وكما يشرب نارُ الأعماق البحرية (ڤَدَڤانالا) جموعَ مياه المحيط المتدفقة، كذلك التهمت تلك القدرة الجليلة مقذوفات أشڤاتّھاما.
