इति ब्रुवन् निववृते भ्रातृभि: सह पाण्डव: । जानंश्व शकुनेर्मायां पार्थो द्यूतमियात् पुन:,ऐसा कहते हुए पाण्डुनन्दन युधिष्ठिर भाइयोंके साथ पुनः लौट पड़े। वे शकुनिकी मायाको जानते थे, तो भी जूआ खेलनेके लिये चले आये
iti bruvan nivavṛte bhrātṛbhiḥ saha pāṇḍavaḥ | jānaṃś ca śakuner māyāṃ pārtho dyūtam iyāt punaḥ ||
وهكذا قال، ثم عاد الباندَفَةُ (يودهيشثيرا) مع إخوته. ومع أنه كان يعلم مكايدَ شكوني وخداعه، فإن ابنَ باندو مضى مرةً أخرى إلى مقامرةِ النَّرْد.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even when one recognizes deception and foresees harm, attachment to social expectation, royal etiquette, or personal weakness can still compel participation in adharma; the verse highlights the danger of knowingly stepping into a morally compromised situation.
After speaking, Yudhiṣṭhira turns back with his brothers and goes once more to the dice-game, despite being aware of Śakuni’s trickery—setting the stage for further manipulation and loss.
