Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Restraint and the Pāṇḍavas’ Authorized Return (धृतराष्ट्र-उपदेशः)

युधिछिर उवाच राजपुत्रा इमे राजज्छोभन्ते यैर्विभूषिता: । कुण्डलानि च निष्काश्च सर्व राजविभूषणम्‌ । एतन्मम धन राजंस्तेन दीव्याम्यहं त्वया,युधिष्ठिर बोले--राजन्‌! ये राजपुत्र जिन आभूषणोंसे विभूषित होकर शोभित हो रहे हैं, वे कुण्डल और गलेके स्वर्णभूषण आदि समस्त राजकीय आभूषण मेरे धन हैं। इन्हें दाँवपर लगाकर मैं तुम्हारे साथ खेलता हूँ

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca rājaputrā ime rājann śobhante yair vibhūṣitāḥ | kuṇḍalāni ca niṣkāś ca sarvaṃ rājavibhūṣaṇam | etan mama dhanaṃ rājan tena dīvyāmy ahaṃ tvayā |

قال يُدْهِشْتِهيرا: «أيها الملك! إن هؤلاء الأمراء يزدادون بهاءً بما تزيّنوا به من الحُليّ—الأقراط وحُليّ العنق الذهبية وسائر زينة الملوك. هذا مالي، أيها الملك؛ وبه أُقامرك.»
