Educational Q&A

Status and wealth do not automatically grant privilege; even eminent rulers can be constrained by social order, protocol, and the practical limits of crowded royal ceremonies—highlighting how power operates through controlled access.

Duryodhana describes the scene at the entrance: the Chola and Pāṇḍya kings have arrived but cannot get through the doorway, implying an immense gathering and tightly managed entry into the royal venue.
