Chapter 50
कृतां विन्दुसरोरत्नैर्मयेन स्फाटिकच्छदाम् | अपश्यं नलिनीं पूर्णामुदकस्येव भारत
kṛtāṁ bindusaroratnair mayena sphaṭikacchadām | apaśyaṁ nalinīṁ pūrṇām udakasy eva bhārata bhārata |
قال دوريودhana: «يا بهاراتا! عند بحيرة بِندوسارَس صنع مايا الأَسورا بركةَ لوتسٍ مصطنعة، مرصَّعة بالجواهر ومغطّاة بألواح من البلّور. فحسبتُها ماءً يملؤها. ولمّا رفعتُ ثيابي لأهبط إليها، انفجر بهيماسينا ضاحكًا ضحكًا عاليًا. وقد أذهلتني روعةُ ثراء العدوّ الفريد—وأنا محرومٌ من مثله—فاهتزّ كبريائي.»
