Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration
दुर्योधन उवाच निवर्तयिष्यति त्वासौ यदि क्षत्ता समेष्यति । निवत्ते त्वयि राजेन्द्र मरिष्पेडहमसंशयम्,दुर्योधनने कहा--विदुरजी जब आपसे मिलेंगे, तब अवश्य ही आपको इस कार्यसे निवृत्त कर देंगे। राजेन्द्र! यदि आपने इस कार्यसे मुँह मोड़ लिया तो मैं नि:संदेह प्राण त्याग दूँगा
duryodhana uvāca nivartayiṣyati tvāsaḥ yadi kṣattā sameṣyati | nivṛtte tvayi rājendra mariṣye 'ham asaṁśayam ||
قال دوريودhana: «إن جاء فيدورا حاجب القصر للقائك فسيثنيك لا محالة عن هذا السبيل. أيها الملك، إن عدلتَ عنه فسأبذل حياتي بلا ريب.»
