bhīṣma uvāca | cedirājakule jātas tryakṣa eṣa caturbhujaḥ | rāsabhārāvasadṛśaṃ rarāsa ca nanāda ca ||
قال بهيشما: «يا بهيماسينا، اسمع. في السلالة الملكية لتشيدي، في بيت الملك داماغوشا، وُلد هذا شيشوبالا وله ثلاثُ عيونٍ وأربعُ أذرع. ولم يطلق بكاءَ الرضيع المعتاد، بل نهق نهقَ الحمار، وزأر أيضًا زئيرًا عاليًا.»
