Adhyāya 32: Rājasūya-Dīkṣā and Appointment of Court Offices (राजसूयदीक्षा तथा अधिकारविनियोगः)
करभाणां सहस्राणि कोशं तस्य महात्मन: । ऊहुर्दश महाराज कृच्छादिव महाधनम्,महाराज! उन महामना नकुलके बहुमूल्य खजानेका बोझ दस हजार हाथी बड़ी कठिनाईसे ढो रहे थे
karabhāṇāṁ sahasrāṇi kośaṁ tasya mahātmanaḥ | ūhur daśa mahārāja kṛcchrād iva mahādhanam ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: «أيها الملك العظيم، إن آلاف الجِمال كانت تحمل خزائن ذلك السامي النفس؛ وكانت عشرةُ آلافِ فيلٍ، كأنما بمشقةٍ عظيمة، تَنوءُ بتلك الثروة الهائلة.»
वैशम्पायन उवाच
