अर्जुनस्य दिग्विजयारम्भः — Arjuna Initiates the Northern Campaign and Secures Bhagadattta’s Tribute
एवमुक्त: स कृष्णेन पाण्डव: परवीरहा । जरासंधस्य तद् रूपं ज्ञात्वा चक्रे मतिं वधे
evam uktaḥ sa kṛṣṇena pāṇḍavaḥ paravīrahā | jarāsandhasya tad rūpaṃ jñātvā cakre matiṃ vadhe ||
فلما خوطب بهيماسينَ بذلك من كريشنا، وهو من آل باندو قاتلُ أبطالِ الأعداء، أدرك حالَ جاراسنده من الإعياء والضعف، فعقد في نفسه عزمَ قتله.
