Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā
प्रेक्षतस्त्वेव पार्थस्य वृष्ण्यन्धकवरस्त्रिय: । जग्मुरादाय ते म्लेच्छा: समन््ताज्जनमेजय,जनमेजय! अर्जुन देखते ही रह गये और वे म्लेच्छ डाकू सब ओरसे वृष्णि और अन्धकवंशकी सुन्दरी स्त्रियोंको लूट ले गये
prekṣatastv eva pārthasya vṛṣṇyandhakavarastriyaḥ | jagmur ādāya te mlecchāḥ samantāj janamejaya ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: وبينما كان بارثا (أرجونا) ينظر، خُطِفَت النساءُ الشريفات من آل فْرِشْني وآل أَنْدَهَكَة، وسِيقْنَ بعيدًا على أيدي غزاةٍ من المليتشا جاءوا من كل جانب—يا جاناميجايا. ويُبرز هذا المشهدُ المرارةَ التي أعقبت هلاك اليادافا: فإذا انهارت قوةُ الحماية والنظامُ الجامع، وقع الأذى على الضعفاء، ولا تكفي حتى حضرةُ بطلٍ عظيم لردّ عواقب الزمان والقدر.
