Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā
सज्जीकुरुत यानानि रत्नानि विविधानि च । वज्रोडयं भवतां राजा शक्रप्रस्थे भविष्यति
sajjīkuruta yānāni ratnāni vividhāni ca | vajroḍayaṃ bhavatāṃ rājā śakraprasthe bhaviṣyati ||
قال فايشَمبايَنا: «أعِدّوا المركبات، وأعِدّوا كذلك شتّى الجواهر. فإن ملككم فَجْرودايا سيُثبَّت في شَكْرَبرَسْثا».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even after collective downfall and grief, dharma requires continuity of rightful governance. The verse emphasizes practical readiness—securing resources and arranging the transition—so that society does not collapse into disorder.
A directive is issued to prepare conveyances and valuables in anticipation of installing/establishing King Vajroḍaya at Śakraprastha, signaling an organized political transition in the Mausala Parva’s aftermath.
