उत्पातदर्शनम् — Portents and Kāla among the Vṛṣṇis
ततो<न्धकाश्न भोजाश्च शैनेया वृष्णयस्तथा
tato 'ndhakāś ca bhojāś ca śaineyā vṛṣṇayas tathā
ثم اجتمع الأَنْدَكَةُ والبُهوجا، وكذلك الشَّيْنَيَّةُ والوِرِشْنِيّون—تلك العشائر من اليادَفَة.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even mighty lineages are not immune to downfall when arrogance, intoxication, and internal discord take hold; collective ruin can arise from within, showing the ethical necessity of restraint and vigilance over one’s own community.
Vaiśampāyana lists the Yādava clans—Andhakas, Bhojas, Śaineyas, and Vṛṣṇis—indicating their gathering/participation as events progress toward the violent end of the Yādavas described in the Mausala Parva.
