अध्याय ९ — कर्णस्य प्रहारः, योधयुग्मनियोजनम्, शैनेय-कैकेययोर्युद्धविन्यासः
अपतिहसि कृष्णेति ब्रुवन् पार्थानवैक्षत । यस्य नासीद् भयं पार्थ: सपुत्रै: सजनार्दनै:
apatihasi kṛṣṇeti bruvan pārthān avaikṣata | yasya nāsīd bhayaṃ pārthaḥ saputraiḥ sajanārdanaiḥ ||
قال فَيْشَمْبَايَنَة: «وهو يقول: “لقد قُتلتَ، يا كِرِشْنَا”، نظر نحو أبناء بريثا. غير أن بارثا—مع أبنائه وبجانبه جاناردانا—لم يُبدِ خوفاً.»
