न चापि कर्ण प्रसहेद् रणे<र्जुनो महागिरिं मेरुमिवोग्रमारुत: । नचाश्वसिष्यन्ति पृथात्मजा मयेि प्रसह वैरं बहुशो विचिन्त्य
sañjaya uvāca |
na cāpi karṇa prasahed raṇe ’rjuno mahāgiriṁ merum ivogramārutaḥ |
na cāśvasiṣyanti pṛthātmajā mayi prasahya vairaṁ bahuśo vicintya ||
قال سانجيا: «حتى أرجونا لن يطيق كَرْنَة في ساحة القتال، كما لا يستطيع عاصفٌ شديد أن يواجه جبل ميرو العظيم. وأبناء بريثا (كونتي)، إذ يعيدون التفكير مرارًا في العداوة التي فرضتُها عليهم بعنادٍ مرة بعد مرة، لن يضعوا ثقتهم بي.»
