Shloka 95

युद्धाभिलाषुको भूत्वा ध्वजो गाण्डीवधन्चन: । कर्णध्वजमुपातिष्ठत्‌ स्वस्थानाद्‌ वेगवान्‌ कपि:

yuddhābhilāṣuko bhūtvā dhvajo gāṇḍīvadhanañcanaḥ | karṇadhvajam upātiṣṭhat svasthānād vegavān kapiḥ ||

قال سانجيا: وقد اشتعلت فيه رغبة القتال، قفز القرد الجبار—الذي كان رايةً لحامل «غانديڤا»—قفزةً سريعة من موضعه، واتخذ مكانه قبالة لواء كارنا. وكانت تلك اللحظة إيذانًا بتصاعد العزم: إذ صار شعار عربة أرجونا فألًا حيًّا للحماية والتحدّي، فاشتدّ الصدام الأخلاقي والحربي بين البطلين.
