अपविद्धायुधैर्मार्ग: स्तीर्णो5 भूत् फाल्गुनेन वै । मारे गये हाथियों
sañjaya uvāca | apaviddhāyudhair mārgaḥ stīrṇo 'bhūt phālgunena vai |
قال سانجيا: لقد غطّى فالغونا (أرجونا) الطريق هناك بأسلحةٍ مُلقاة، حتى صار المسلك مفروشًا ببقايا المعركة: فيلةٍ ورجالٍ وخيولٍ صرعى؛ وعرباتٍ كثيرةٍ متهشّمة متناثرة؛ ومحاربين مهرةٍ بلا أرواح، قد جُرّدوا من السلاح والآلات والدروع؛ وأسلحةٍ مطروحةٍ هنا وهناك.
