ciccheda saptadhā rājan kṛtahasto mahābalaḥ |
قال سنجيا: أيها الملك، إن شكوني القويّ الماهر قطع ذلك السهم الرهيب القادم نحوه إلى سبعة أجزاء.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the power of trained skill and alertness to avert danger; ethically, it also reminds that excellence (śaurya/kaushala) is value-neutral and becomes uplifting or destructive depending on the intention and cause it serves.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the expert and mighty Śakuni intercepts an incoming fearsome arrow and slices it into seven pieces, preventing it from striking its target.
