हत्वाहं कर्णमाजौ हि तोषयिष्यामि भ्रातरम् | “जिसके बल-पराक्रमका भरोसा करके महामनस्वी दुर्बुद्धि एवं दुरात्मा दुर्योधन सदा हमलोगोंका अपमान करता आया है

قال سنجيا: «إذا قتلتُ كارنا في ساحة الوغى حقًّا أُرضيتُ أخي. فبالاتكال على قوة كارنا وبأسه كان دوريوذانا—عظيم الهمة في الظاهر، سيّئ الرأي خبيث القلب—لا يزال يهيننا؛ واليوم أقتل كارنا في ميدان القتال لأُرضي يودهيشثيرا.»
