अद्य त्वामनुपश्यामि कर्ण हत्वा महीपते | सभाजयितुमाक्रन्दादिति सत्यं ब्रवीमि ते,भूपाल! आज मैं कर्णको मारकर ही आपका दर्शन करूँगा और युद्धस्थलसे आपका अभिनन्दन करनेके लिये आऊँगा। यह मैं आपसे सत्य कहता हूँ

Transliteration

adya tvām anupaśyāmi karṇa hatvā mahīpate | sabhājayitum ākrandād iti satyaṁ bravīmi te ||

Translation

قال أرجونا: «أيها الملك، لن أمثل بين يديك اليوم إلا بعد أن أقتل كارنا. ثم من صخب ساحة القتال وضجيجها أتقدّم لأؤدي لك التحية وأرفع لك الإجلال. أقول لك هذا صدقًا».
