अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

अत्यद्भुतमिदं पार्थ तव पश्यामि संयुगे । अतिशेते हि यत्र त्वां द्रोणपुत्रोडद्य भारत,तत्पश्चात्‌ क्रोधमें भरे हुए श्रीकृष्ण उस समय अर्जुनसे प्रेमपूर्वक बोले--'पार्थ! युद्धस्थलमें तुम्हारा यह उपेक्षायुक्त अद्भुत बर्ताव देख रहा हूँ। भारत! आज द्रोणपूत्र अश्वृत्थामा तुमसे सर्वथा बढ़ता जा रहा है

Transliteration

atyadbhutam idaṁ pārtha tava paśyāmi saṁyuge | atiśete hi yatra tvāṁ droṇaputro ’dya bhārata ||

Translation

قال سانجيا: «يا بارثا، إنّي أرى فيك على ساحة القتال أمرًا بالغ العجب. فاليوم، يا بهاراتا، إنّ ابن درونا قد أخذ يتفوّق عليك تفوّقًا بيّنًا».
