Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
prayāte rathamāsthāya tripurābhimukhe bhave | nanāda sumahānādaṃ vṛṣabhaḥ pūrayan diśaḥ ||

The verse highlights the divine resolve to confront and remove adharma: Śiva’s purposeful departure and Nandin’s world-filling roar symbolize the restoration of cosmic order and the assurance that unrighteous power (Tripura) will be checked.
Bhīṣma describes Śiva (Bhava) setting out on his chariot toward Tripura; at that moment Nandin, Śiva’s bull, roars mightily, making the quarters resound as a dramatic sign of the impending divine assault.
