प्रदीपयन् रथे तस्थौ त्रीललोकान् स्वेन तेजसा । खड्ग, धनुष और बाण लेकर शोभा पाते हुए वरदायक महादेवजी अपने तेजसे तीनों लोकोंको प्रकाशित करते हुए रथपर स्थित हो गये
pradīpayan rathe tasthau trīl lokān svena tejasā | khaḍga-dhanuṣ-bāṇān gṛhītvā śobhām āpannaḥ varadāyakaḥ mahādevaḥ svena tejasā trīl lokān pradīpayan rathe tasthau ||
قال بهيشما: إن ماهاديفا، واهبَ النِّعَم—حاملاً السيفَ والقوسَ والسهام—وقف على عربته، وبضيائه الذاتي أنار العوالم الثلاثة. ويُبرز هذا المشهد السيادة الإلهية وسط الحرب: فالقوة هنا منضبطةٌ ذات غاية، قادرةٌ على الحماية ومنح النعمة حتى في ساحة القتال.
पितामह उवाच
Even amid warfare, true authority is portrayed as luminous and restrained: Mahādeva’s radiance signifies a higher moral and cosmic order, while his role as a boon-giver suggests that power is ultimately meant for protection and the granting of rightful aid, not mere destruction.
Bhīṣma describes Mahādeva appearing in martial readiness—holding sword, bow, and arrows—standing on a chariot and illuminating the three worlds with his own splendor, emphasizing a divine presence that overwhelms the scene with cosmic brilliance.
