ब्रूत ब्रेतेति भगवान् स्मयमानो5 भ्यभाषत । तब भगवान् शंकरने “तुम्हारा कल्याण हो' ऐसा कहकर उनका समादर करते हुए उनको उठाया और मुसकराते हुए कहा--“बोलो, बोलो; क्या है?”

قال الربّ المبارك مبتسمًا: «تكلّموا، تكلّموا». ثم إنّ الربّ شانكرا (Śaṅkara)، مُكرِمًا لهم، أقامهم وتمنّى لهم الخير قائلاً: «لتنالوا العافية»، ثم ابتسم وسأل: «تكلّموا، تكلّموا؛ ما الأمر؟»
