भवानेव तु न: शक्तो विजयाय न संशय: । पूर्व मध्ये च पश्चाच्च तथैव विहितं हितम्,“हमलोगोंमेंसे तुम्हीं शत्रुओंपर विजय पानेमें समर्थ हो, इसमें तनिक भी संदेह नहीं है। तुमने पहले, बीचमें और पीछे भी हमारा हित ही किया है
bhavāneva tu naḥ śakto vijayāya na saṁśayaḥ | pūrva madhye ca paścācca tathaiva vihitaṁ hitam ||
قال سَنْجَايَا: «أنت وحدك بيننا القادر على إحراز النصر—ولا شك في ذلك. في البدء، وفي الوسط، وحتى في الختام، كنتَ على الدوام تعمل لما فيه خيرُنا.»
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of leadership expressed as 'hita'—acting for the welfare of one’s side consistently (beginning, middle, end). It also shows how confidence and trust are rhetorically placed in a single capable figure, emphasizing responsibility and steadfast support.
Sañjaya reports a statement of assurance directed to a key ally/leader on the Kaurava side: he is declared uniquely capable of bringing victory, and is praised for having repeatedly worked for their benefit throughout the course of events.
