हरिणा चन्दनेनाड्रमुपलिप्य महाभुज: । स्रग्वी चाक्लिष्टवसन: प्राड्मुख: प्राउजलि: स्थित:

sañjaya uvāca |

hariṇā candanenārdram upalipya mahābhujaḥ |

sragvī cākliṣṭavasanaḥ prāṅmukhaḥ prāñjaliḥ sthitaḥ ||

قال سنجيا: بعدما طيّب جسده بعجينةِ صندلٍ أصفرَ رطبة، وقف ذلك الملكُ عظيمُ الساعدين متزيّنًا بإكليلٍ من الزهر، لابسًا ثيابًا جديدةً طاهرةً لا دنس فيها. واستقبل الشرقَ، وضمّ كفّيه بخشوع، فثبت وقورًا—إشارةً إلى انعطافٍ مقصود نحو الطهارة الطقسية، وضبط النفس، والعزم الموافق للدارما وسط ضغوط الحرب.
