Educational Q&A

Steadfastness in crisis is strengthened by memory of endured hardship; when suffering is integrated into purpose, it becomes moral and psychological force—here, the Pāṇḍavas’ resilience translates into disciplined effectiveness in battle.

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Pāṇḍavas cannot be shaken by their opponents; instead, recalling their own past afflictions, they shake the Kaurava battle-arrays and press the fight with renewed intensity.
