नाकुलिं तु शतानीकं भूतकर्मा सभापति: । अस्यन्तमिषुजालानि यान्तं द्रोणादवारयत्‌

Transliteration

nākuliṃ tu śatānīkaṃ bhūtakarmā sabhāpatiḥ | asyantam iṣujālāni yāntaṃ droṇād avārayat ||

Translation

قال سنجيا: إنّ بُهوتَكَرما، سيّد المجلس (سَبهاپَتي)، أوقف شَتانِيكا من سلالة نَكولا حين كان يتقدّم مُرسِلًا شبكاتٍ من السهام، ومنعه من الوصول إلى درونا. وفي زحمة القتال يدلّ هذا الفعل على واجب القائد: كبحُ اندفاعٍ خطِر وحمايةُ رئيسه، ولو تحت ثِقل قتل ذوي القربى وفوضى الحرب.
