व्यास उवाच
When forces hostile to dharma become overwhelming, the text frames their removal as a restoration of cosmic order, sometimes requiring decisive divine intervention; power is invoked not for personal gain but to end harm and re-establish right order.
Vyāsa addresses Mahādeva (Śiva/Rudra), urging him to kill the Dāityas described as enemies of the gods, emphasizing that no one else is capable of defeating them and calling for their destruction as divine offenders.
