सधूमान् सस्फुलिज्ांश्व विद्युत्तोयदर्संनि भान् । त॑ दृष्टवा तु सुरा: सर्वे प्रणिपत्य महेश्वरम्
sadhūmān sasphulijāṁś ca vidyuttoyadarśanibhān | taṁ dṛṣṭvā tu surāḥ sarve praṇipatya maheśvaram ||
وكانت تبدو مُكلَّلةً بالدخان، تتطاير منها الشرر، وتشبه البرقَ وسيلَ المطر ودويَّ الرعد. فلما رأى جميعُ الآلهة ذلك التجلي المهيب، خرّوا ساجدين لمهيشڤرا (شِيفا) إجلالًا.
व्यास उवाच
When confronted with a manifestation of overwhelming divine force, even the gods respond with humility and surrender; true power evokes reverence, reminding beings to recognize a higher moral and cosmic order.
A terrifying, storm-like, fiery appearance—smoke, sparks, lightning, rain, and thunder—is witnessed; in response, all the gods bow down to Maheśvara (Śiva), acknowledging him as the supreme lord in that moment.
